1.Q consult made a research for its client Lithuanian company Dilikas, which belongs to Baltijos Baldu Grupe. The assignment was performed in Denmark and aimed at identifying new possible clients among the big furniture chains and finding partners in the Danish furniture sector.

Managing director Kestutis Linkus and marketing manager Kristina Samaviciene participated in a 3 days trip to Denmark. During the trip they met the representatives of two big Danish owned furniture chains and four bigger furniture factories. During all six meetings, which turned to be very constructive, the parts discussed how to start up collaboration. At each meeting a plan was made how to start up collaboration based on exchanging drawings, price offers and collaboration conditions.

There was also an additionally arranged trip to Germany to meet a big international trading company with the purpose to discuss sales for the European market.

Kestutis Linkus, who is also part owner of BBG, expressed great satisfaction with the way, that 1.Q consult handled the project and expected that the meetings should result in concrete long termed collaboration and contracts with at least some of the companies, they met.

Baltijos Baldu Grupe consists of four big furniture factories, all of them are located in Lithuania. The group employed in 2008 app. 1200 people and expeced a turnover of app. 500 million Danish Kroner.
