1.Q consult assisted NP Utzon A/S, which was originally located in Fredericia, with moving the whole factory to the Baltics.

At first 1.Q consult assisted with input in order a realistic action plan and realistic budgets could be made. The plans was partly made based on impressions and input NP Utzon gathered on study trips to The Baltic States. During these trips also already established Danish companies were visited giving inspiration about the challenges NP Utzon would meet while starting up in one of the Baltic countries.

Hereinafter 1.Q consult started a concrete search for suitable buildings possible to buy and assisted in all the next phase choosing the right buildings (it ended with buying some buildings belonging to a bankrupted factory). We as well assisted with choosing the right collaboration partners, building architects, lawyers, auditors etc. A company was established and the acquisition of the buildings and renovation of these could be started.

1.Q consult as well assisted with contacts to the authorities and secured in all ways that the project all the time was kept on needed speed. 1.Q consult ended the its assistance with participation in the process of choosing the Managing Director and Financial responsible, after which those two could take over and secure further development of the project.

The owner of NP Utzon later sold the company to some Icelandic colleagues, who saw a big value in taking over an already existing factory. The space of the production area has afterwards been increased significantly to secure space for all the machines moved from Iceland as well.
